Borscht

Ingredients

1 ½ litres water
600g beef
4 beetroots
2 carrots, peeled and chopped
1 onion, peeled and diced
250g cabbage, sliced
400g potatoes, washed and chopped but not peeled
2 tbsp Vegetable boullion
Fresh diill, to taste (I personally used LOTS)
Sour Cream
Salt/pepper/vinegar, to taste

1. Add the beetroot to 1 ½ litres of boiling water, simmer.
2. Whilst the beetroot is simmering, cut the beef into chunky strips. Add with the carrots, potatoes cabbage and dill.
3. Add vegetable boullion/salt/pepper/vinegar to season.
4. Simmer for an hour.
5. Add the rest of the dill and sour cream to taste.
